Last weekend we headed to New York City for our third annual May Long family trip. One of the challenges of the trip is always finding a big enough place to stay that isn’t ridiculously expensive and is close to the subway. We enjoy staying in Brooklyn since parking is freely available, accommodation is more spacious and affordable and there is lots of cool stuff to do.
This year we rented a place through VRBO based on the recommendation of designtripper and it worked out really well for us with an excellent location, a cool neighborhood and great price. The beds were comfy, with lots of room to spread out and even a closet full of kids toys. Previous places we have stayed include The Institute and this great loft on Montrose.
